Packing

The laundry is finished! I will start packing suitcases tomorrow. Since we purchased our airline tickets in February, we fall under the old rules. We are allowed two suitcases each as long as they weigh under 50 pounds each and fall within certain size limits. One suitcase will be two chairs strapped together. Mission tomorrow is to find a canvas bag to put them in. It looks like our clothes could all fit in the one large suitcase with no problem. The problem is all the cargo Stephanie has us bringing. I will layer the three suitcases with her stuff - curriculumn, toothbrushes & toothpaste for all the children in her village school (donated by our wonderful hygienist), heart & lung model, her flute & music, books, crayons, cd players, watches & small clocks. Along with all that I'm also bringing her a stovetop ovenette and assorted muffin mixes. She also asked for marshmallows, chocolate & graham crackers so she can teach the children how to make s'mores.

I can't wait to step off the plane and give her a huge hug. We haven't seen her since April 11, 2007.
